Description
This object is a data-wrangling example dataset from a laboratory experiment conducted to evaluate the inhibitory effects of different pipette-tip washing methods on Escherichia coli (E. coli) growth. The publication “TidyTron: Reducing Lab Waste Using Validated Wash-and-Reuse Protocols for Common Plasticware in Opentrons OT-2 Lab Robots” (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.slast.2023.08.007) provides full information about the experiment; the dataset is based on Supplemental Figure S2. The object file (workbook) includes three sheets: (1) “README” with a summary of the experiment and description of the contents of the workbook; (2) “OD600_data” with the raw optical density measurements over time; and (3) “Treatments” describing the pipette-tip washing treatments used in the experiment.
